You need a #2 Phillips or Square Head Screwdriver to open the wooden urn.  With our unique brass screws you can use either #2 types of screwdriver head.  Turn the cremation urn over to view the screws to remove, from the wooden urn base.  NOTE: When turning the cremation urn over, please place the top of the cremation urn on a towel to protect the top of the wooden urn from surface scratches.  Turn the screws counter clockwise until screw is fully removed.  Remove all screws, from the wooden urn base.  Carefully, remove the wooden urn base from the cremation urn.  Place your loved one's cremains inside the cremation urn. (plastic liner bag enclosed; use is optional) Carefully, replace wooden urn base.  Insert screws, turning clockwise to tighten.  Replace all screws to secure remains inside the cremation urn.
