When someone you love becomes a
memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

If butterflies could fly to Heaven, they would bring my love to you, and yours right back to me.

Your presence we miss, Your memories we treasure, Loving you always, Forgetting you never.

Gone yet not forgotten, Although we are apart, Your spirit lives within me, Forever in my heart.

Our hearts
still ache in sadness, And secret tears still flow, What it meant to lose you, No one will ever know.

If Tears Could Build A Stairway (partial)

If tears could
build a stairway and memories a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.

Now I lay me down to sleep; I
pray thee, Lord, my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake, I pray thee, Lord, My soul to take.

It takes
us back to brighter years, to happier sunlit days and to precious moments that will be with us always. And
these fond recollections are treasured in the heart to bring us always close to those from whom we had to part. There is a bridge of memories from earth to Heaven above... It keeps our dear ones near us. It's the
bridge that we call love.

Don't weep at my grave, For I am not there, I've a date with a butterfly To dance in the air. I'll be singing in the sunshine, Wild and free, Playing tag with the wind, While I'm waiting for thee.

If I
could have a lifetime wish a dream that would come true I'd pray to God with all my heart for yesterday
and you. A thousand words can't bring you back I know because I've tried And neither will a million
tears I know because I've cried. You left behind my broken heart and happy memories too I never wanted
memories... I only wanted you.

We thought
of you with love today. But that is nothing new. We thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. We think of you in silence. We often speak your name. Now all we have is memories. And your picture in a
frame. Your memory is our keepsake. With which we'll never part. God has you in his keeping. We have
you in our heart.

On the
wings of this white dove I'll set your spirit free. Up into the big deep sky, to heaven, where you'll
be. I know God has a plan for us, he wants us by his side. But it is hard for us to understand when we
are left behind. Little dove, help lift our hearts as we watch you go, God is there if we just ask, because He loves us so.

They
say memories are golden well maybe that is true. I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million
times I needed you, a million times I cried. If love alone could have saved you you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, In death I love you still. In my heart you hold a place no one could ever
fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane, I'd walk the path to heaven and
bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same. But as God calls us one
by one, the chain will link again.

If Tears Could Build a Stairway (full version)
|
If tears
could build a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to Heaven and bring you back again.
No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God
knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you no one can ever know.
But now we know you want us to mourn for you no more, to remember all the
happy times life still has much in store. Since you'll never be forgotten we pledge to
you today, a hallowed place within our hearts is where you'll always stay.

Do not stand at my grave and weep, for I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond's glint on
snow.
I am sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle Autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the
morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quite birds in circle flight, I am the stars that
shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die.

When I come to the end of the road, and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, why cry for a soul set free?
Miss
me a little-but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, remember the love that we once shared. Miss
me but let me go.
For this a journey we all must take, and each must go along. It's all a part of
the Master's plan, a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends
we know. Bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me but let me go.

We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name, In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our
hearts to lose you, You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you, You are
always at our side.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, But as God calls us one by
one, The chain will link again.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took His
hand when I heard Him call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love,
to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting
has left a void Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Oh yes, burdened with
times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends,
good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee God wanted me now; He set me free.
